About Us

Over 35,000 people have graduated from BCC since the college opened in 1947. These alumni, representing hundreds of professional fields, received a common start at Broome Community College.

Though many of Broome's alumni have settled close by, there are also BCC alumni in all 50 states and many countries around the world, including China, England, Costa Rica, Japan, Russia and Germany.

The BCC Department of Alumni Affairs provides the alumni's link to the college and seeks to retain contact with alumni by regularly updating alumni addresses.

Keeping in touch with the college is important

The Broome Community College alumni website makes it easy to connect with such a geographically and professionally diverse college family. You can read about fellow alums, look at old college pictures, sign up for the online newsletter BUZZWORDS, and make plans to meet at events advertised on the website.

As you use these pages to reflect on your experience at Broome, consider giving back to the College to enrich the experience of today's students. You can still make a difference at BCC, whether you give money to the BCC Foundation for scholarships, equipment upgrades or faculty development, or simply volunteer your time on campus. Go to the link, Supporting the College, on this website to get some more ideas.

Director

The BCC Alumni Affairs Office is waiting for a new director right now. Click here if you need to contact someone in the alumni office.
