Alumni Enjoy Reunion at Graduation

  BCC alumni who attended a special alumni reception at the 2001 graduation experienced an evening of reminiscing, music and good food. The event was held at The Arena Club (on the third floor above the Broome County Arena) and was sponsored by the BCC Alumni Association and the office of Alumni Affairs. About 75 people stopped in before, during, and after graduation. Beverages and cocktails, a light dinner complete with sauté bar, music by professor Mike Kinney and his 4-piece band, and complimentary mugs and pencils made for a fun evening. Faculty and staff also dropped by to greet alumni.

   There was a special invitation extended for the members of the graduating classes 1951, 1961, 1971, 1981 and 1991 to attend, and a number did gather and reacquaint with old classmates.
   "This annual reunion event is a great was for alumni to stay in touch with each other as well as the college. It was like welcoming back family," Dr Donald Dellow, BCC President, said afterwards.
