The mission of this student chapter is:

To foster student interest in future careers and study in engineering and engineering technology.

To provide services to prepare members for a career in engineering and engineering technology.

To develop relationships with local schools (K-12) and aid them in promoting engineering as a career model.

To encourage engineering undergraduates to continue their studies at the graduate level.

To encourage engineering education as a career choice.

To encourage women and minorities to seek careers in the fields of engineering and engineering technology.
