Student workers are an important and integral part of Media Services. Many of the jobs you are required to do in the beginning will be setting up a wide array of instructional media equipment for various classes.

The initial training and apprenticeship sessions will provide you with the knowledge to perform basic, routine equipment setups and operations. Departmental procedure and policies will also be covered. We provide training in more complex equipment and setups as you become experienced in the basics.

• Students with a background in or an interest in computer, sound and/or video equipment setup and operation.
• Students who enjoy interacting with faculty and staff and providing a needed service to these groups (very desirable traits found in our best workers).
• Students who are both punctual and flexible!
• Students who qualify for Federal Work Study.

1. Contact the Financial Aid office to find out if you qualify for Federal Work Study. (Media Services can only accept applications from individuals qualifying for Federal Work Study.)
2. Please stop by the Media Services office, B020 in the basement of the Business Building, to pickup an employment application form and schedule and interview.
3. Please complete the form and bring it with you to your interview.
