For Students: Accessing WebCT Courses

There are two ways to enter your WebCT course. The preferred method is by going through the student intranet (BCCToday), and accessing your course from there. The second method is by going directly to WebCT. This should only be used if BCCToday is unavailable.

NOTE: WebCT courses are usually not available until the first day of classes. Your instructor is responsible for giving you access.

Option #1 (Preferred): Accessing WebCT Through BCCToday:

In your Web browser, navigate to http://bcctoday.sunybroome.edu or click on the BCCToday link on the right-side of BCC's homepage (www.sunybroome.edu).
If you have not logged into BCCToday before and need to obtain a BCCToday username and password, click on the link on the left side of the screen that reads “First time users click here for password setup” and follow the instructions. If you already have your BCCToday Username and password – go to step 3 and log on.
Log into BCCToday.

4. Once logged into BCCToday, click the MyCourses tab.

5. In the section for the current semester, click on the link to your WebCT course.

Option #2 (Alternate): Direct Access to WebCT:

Using an Internet browser, navigate to http://webcttoday.sunybroome.edu/
Click on the "Log In To WebCT" link. A log in window will appear.
Use your login information to complete the user name and password fields.

Username: BCCToday Username
Password: BCCToday Password

Note: All Usernames and Passwords are CASE SENSITIVE. Be sure your WebCT ID is typed in lower case and your password is typed in UPPER CASE.

If you have problems logging in or receive error messages while working with WebCT, please contact your instructor or the Computer Center Help Desk for assistance.
