September 27, 2006 BCC To Host Series Of Election Year -Debates Provide Opportunity To Learn About Candidates & Issues- (TOWN OF DICKINSON, NY) Broome Community College will host a series of election year debates for County, State and Federal Races. The schedule is as follows: October 5, 2006: 11:00-11:50, Little Theater, Michael Arcuri and Raymond Meier, Candidates for Representative in the United States Congress, to represent New York's 24th Congressional District. October 24, 2006: 11:00-11:50, D-201, Forum with Candidates for the Broome County Legislature. October 24, 2006: 7:00-9:00 PM, AT-200, Forum with Candidates for the Broome County Legislature. October 26, 2006: 11:00-11:50, T-101, Jay Dinga and Donna Lupardo, Candidates for Assemblyperson in the New York State Assembly, to represent the 126th District. October 26, 2006: 7:00-9:00 PM, T-102, Forum with Candidates for the Broome County Legislature. November 2, 2006: 11:00-11:30, T-101, Thomas Libous and Mark Trabucco, Candidates for Senator in the New York State Senate, to represent the 52nd District. The debates are sponsored by the BCC History, Philosophy and Social Sciences Department and the Center for Civic Education.
