An evening of reminiscing, music and good food is waiting for Broome Community College alumni who attend a special alumni reception at the 2001 Graduation.

The event is Friday, May 25, from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at The Arena Club (upstairs in the Broome County Arena). Alumni are welcome to stop in before, during, or after the 7:30 p.m. graduation, also held at the Arena. Beverages and cocktails, a light dinner, music by Mike Kinney and his 4-piece band, and free giveaways will make for an entertaining evening.

There is a special invitation for members of the Classes of 1951, 1961, 1971, 1981, and 1991 to gather at this event, a reunion by the decade.

"This annual reunion event is a great way for alumni to stay in touch with each other as well as the college. It's like welcoming back family," Dr. Donald Dellow, BCC president, said.

The evening is sponsored by the BCC Alumni Association with the cooperation of the BCC Office of Alumni Affairs. Reservations are required to attend although the event is free.
