BCC Awards
Frank G. Paul Medal of Excellence
in Math and Science
In response to the excellence of Broome County regional high school math and science programs, the Broome Community College Foundation has created the Frank G. Paul Medal of Excellence in Math and Science to honor outstanding female and male senior students. Select area high schools have been chosen to participate on the basis of their outstanding past graduates. This award was established by an endowment to help student leaders complete their college education in engineering.
This
year's winners (selected by high schools) are being honored at a luncheon on May 17 (11:30 a.m. – BCC Decker Health Science Center, 201).
Each
student will receive the Medal of Excellence and two will be announced as
additional winners of $2,000
scholarships to BCC's Engineering Science program.
