APPS - Remote Access
Off Campus Remote Access through Citrix XenApp
APPS is a secure remote-access environment that enables convenient access from home or anywhere else, to licensed campus software such as Microsoft Office and other applications and resources as well as your stored network files (i.e. Z: Drive).
Applications include some licensed campus software such as Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word), Minitab, and several others. Navigate to the secure server at http://apps.sunybroome.edu. The first time you access APPS it will determine if you need to install software to allow you to launch applications. This initial installation will only happen once, so please be patient. Please see the instructions below.
Citrix is constantly updating their software, so different browsers will often yield different results. Currently we are recommending Internet Explorer 8 or higher. If you are using a Macintosh or a different browser, you may need to change some settings.
If you have trouble, please uninstall all Citrix software from your machine, reboot and reinstall. If you are still having problems, please visit the HelpDesk in L102D or IT services in B121.
