"Elegies. . ." is an upbeat, poetic musical celebrating the lives of those who have died from, or been affected by, HIV/AIDS.

The production hosted an appearance and talk by the playwright and lyricist Bill Russell on April 7th, 2006. Russell's Broadway show "Side Show" was nominated for numerous Tony awards.

Elegies was Directed by Katherine Bacon. BCC students in the cast included Shannon Bricker, Gabriele Briggs, Lindsay Cupelo, Tom Fadden, Cody Fish, Connie Lord, Kristen Mauro, Justin Willett, Elana O¹Neil, Kyle Todack, and Jason Walsh. Community actors appearing in the production included Mark Lenihan, Tony Yajko, J.J. Smith, and Ed Shephard. Theater Professor Katherine Bacon and English Professor Jim Gormley also were members of the cast. Keyboard was by Claudia Kachmarick, cello by Hakan Hromek and Harp Keyboard by Kat Baine.
