As the need for skills updates and training expands, Corporate Training and Education has stayed current with trends by offering innovative credit and non-credit corporate programs. Offering more than 100 customized training programs each year, Corporate Training and Education is committed to the economic development of the region supporting companies to continuously improve.

Director of Corporate Services Janet Hertzog is responsible for the development and implementation of corporate contracts in the Community Education function.

As part of the largest university system in the world, BCC has access to talented training experts. These instructors can assist with the development of employee skills for a variety of settings and organizational structures.

Corporate Services Council

The Center for Community Education relies upon a 40 person Corporate Services Council to keep the college informed on the most recent industrial, service sector and public developments. Campus technology, engineering, and computing staff work with the Center to develop programs ensuring the highest level of training resulting in the best possible level of competency for area employers.

Assessment Services
Trained personnel can visit your worksite and conduct a formal or informal assessment of your training needs. Through personal interviews, written surveys and demographic information, BCC staff can help you identify and focus on your training needs.
Basic Skills Instruction
Through specially designed skills assessment instruments, BCC staff can help ascertain basic skill levels of your employees. This can be especially important when implementing new technologies such as statistical process control or computer integrated manufacturing. We can provide basic skills instruction in subject areas as reading, shop math and blueprint reading.
Leadership Training Programs include:
