To Schedule an Appointment:

Counseling and Career Services is located in Suite 210 of the Student Services building. Counselors are available by appointment Monday through Friday from 9:00-4:00.

Referrals are sometimes made to appropriate community agencies.

College students frequently encounter new experiences which can be difficult to adjust to. Students must become accustomed to a new environment with its own unique pressures, anxieties, and challenges.

The counseling services offered at BCC are an integral part of the college experience. The goal of the faculty and staff of Counseling and Career Services is to assist students in developing their potential for personal and academic success.

Counseling involves helping students resolve personal problems or concerns that interfere with academic achievement and develop behaviors that enhance decision making skills, increase self-confidence, and enable them to meet future challenges.

Many students need assistance defining their educational and career goals. Others seek transfer information, academic counseling, or help resolving personal problems that may be hampering their educational performance. Still others take advantage of special workshops, support groups, and courses designed to address specific personal or educational issues.

Whatever your concern, Counseling offers a full range of free services.
