The Health Information Technology program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of the American Health Information Management Association, 919 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1400, Chicago, Ill 60611-1683, (312) 787-2672, in collaboration with the Commission on the Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.

Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Certification Examination to become a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
