The ICCR is a not-for-profit research organization administered
by the BCC-Foundation for the benefit of Broome Community
College. Its purpose is to assist the college in its educational
mission by conducting research on the educational process
at the college or at other schools for comparative purposes.
To that end the Institute shall:
- Assist the college in the development of information
which will facilitate research studies focused on the
mission, outcomes and financing of the community college.
- Sponsor research conducted both by persons on campus
and persons off campus.
- Publish and disseminate its research findings.
- Establish a special collection in the college library
which contains relevant research literature.
