The New York State Education Department has ruled that an IEP diploma is different from a high school diploma in that it is not an indication of sucessful completion of high school study. Therefore, students who hold an IEP diploma may apply for admission to BCC and will be evaluated on the same criteria used for students who lack a high school diploma or GED.
