For twenty years, Community Education staff have monitored the needs and interests of Broome County residents to provide the most up-to-date and innovative programming possible. The Center has been recognized nationally as a provider of creative and leading-edge community programs and corporate training. More than 10,000 people participate in BCC workshops and seminars each year. |

Classes include award-winning computer workshops, business
seminars, career updates, certificate programs and vocational training
as well as walking tours, trips, plays and banquets.

| Community Workshops and Seminars |
| The Center for Community Education offers more than
600 non-credit classes each year on a wide variety of topics. A free catalog
describing class offerings is distributed three times each year (January,
May, and August). Why take a community education class? You can meet new
people who share your interests, learn a new hobby, hone your work skills,
and have fun exploring something about which you are curious. There is a

| Economic Development Grant Assistance |

BCC Center for Community Education committed to serving business, industry, and the service sector in our region. In the past three years, the Center has been responsible for writing, receiving, and implementing nearly $3 million in grants for education and training. Types of grants include:
Over 200 companies have been served by BCC training and education grants. As dwindling resources compel increasing numbers of organizations to seek out alternative forms of funding, The BCC Center for Community Education remains committed to assisting them in the research, writing, and administration of funds. |
