About Us  

BCC's Office of Campus Safety is responsible for emergency response, hazard control, crime prevention and parking and traffic management. In addition our office offers lockout assistance, lost and found service, and is available to address any other safety and security concerns of the students, faculty or staff.

The department provides 24 hour coverage with the support of the Broome County Sheriff’s Office. The Campus Safety Office staff consists of a Director, Assistant Director, Campus Peace Officers, Campus Safety Officers, and clerical support. The Director, Assistant Director and Campus Peace Officers are authorized to enforce the laws of the State of New York.

You can now register your vehicle for a parking permit ONLINE.
Parking Regulations

There have been some changes and improvements to the parking regulations this year.  Please make sure that you are familiar with the current procedures.
Examples:
Appeals can only be made on the first two offenses received in a semester.  The third offense can not be appealed and is subject to double fine if criteria is met.
Vehicles will be immobilized or towed for four or more offences issued for parking in a semester.  L-permits are available for handicapped parking see campus safety for details.
