| A.A.S. Nursing Degree - Evenings/Weekends | ||||
| Admission | ||||
|
The evening/weekend program recognizes that students may find the format more compatible with their work schedules and life styles. Students must plan a schedule that includes three hours of preparation and study time for each credit hour they are taking. Entry into this program is based on completion of pre-requisites: Regents level high school Biology and Chemistry, as well as Course I and II in Math, all with an earned grade of 74 or better. Individuals interested in the program who lack these prerequisites may take them at BCC, where they are offered at various times of the day and evening. There are Liberal Arts/Science courses that are required for the degree. It is suggested that students take these courses prior to beginning the nursing courses sequencing; however, the courses may be worked into the curriculum sequence. These courses will be offered in the evenings, on the Internet and/or during summer terms. |
