A Note About Photography...
MarCom does not provide photography for events. The college does not employ a campus photographer.
The Marketing and Communications department will occasionally deploy a graphic designer to gather images for specific use on the web or in printed publications.
Need to sign out a camera to take some shots of your event? Visit the ITS/Media Services area in the Business Building or call them at ext. 5011.
The Marketing and Communications department often produces video content for college commercials, testimonials, orientation guides, and other marketing and enrollment purposes. The primary role of our videographers is to film and edit professional video for the purpose of marketing the college or communicating key enrollment processes.
The Office of Event Planning will occasionally engage our videographers to capture footage from an event. However, the department does not produce video for posterity or archival purposes…and should not be thought of as an "A/V service".
Contact the department if you believe you have a highly visual event that could be used to market the college. Be sure that you have proper release forms from everyone participating. Moreover, we do not film events for which we cannot obtain releases for the college's promotional channels (such as YouTube and Facebook).
Taping of academic or course related content should be referred to our Technology Services area at x5011.
