How to Submit Attendance Records

1. Log in to My College. Your username and password were provided to you on the yellow forms in your Fast Forward Folders.
2. Click on Faculty & Advisors, click on Attendance and Midterm Grades, select Term, select EACH course.
 
3. There are two possibilities – you may have students that NEVER attended or you may have a class where ALL attended at least once. Examples of the Attendance form for both of these situations follow.
• All students enrolled in the class should be on the list.
• Note if a student dropped the class between registration and now, their name should not appear on the displayed class list.
 
a. If every student in your class attended at least once, place a 1 (one) in the Attend Hours field for the FIRST PERSON ONLY in your class list.
OR
b. For EACH STUDENT WHO NEVER ATTENDED, enter a 0 (zero) in the Attend Hours field. This is the only attendance data that must be submitted.
 
4. You will continue to take attendance through the end of the semester only for the purpose of keeping track of those students who may obtain F grades. However, no further attendance sheets will be submitted to BCC.
5. At the end of the semester, you will enter final grades. You will also enter the appropriate date in the Last Attendance Date Field on the Class Attendance Roster for all students who received an F grade. If the student completed the course and earned an F grade, the last date of the semester will be entered into the Last Attended Date Field.
6. You will be allowed 48 hours to enter appropriate attendance information.
