Criminal Justice-Corrections: A.S.

  • Graduates are prepared for careers in corrections, protective services, security and in selected aspects of the courts systems. 
  • Program is also designed to prepare students to transfer for continued study towards a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, forensics, pre-law, sociology or other related areas of study.
  • Students study corrections administration, juvenile justice, correctional law, criminal law, criminal procedural law, constitutional law and community corrections.  Students may choose electives in forensic science, criminal investigation, security administration and several other areas.
  • Teaching staff includes local working professionals with expertise in various fields.
