With more than 200 customized training programs each year, SUNY Broome Workforce Development is committed to the economic development of the region supporting companies to continuously improve. Workforce Development Council

SUNY Broome Continuing Education relies upon a 40 person Workforce Development Council to keep the college informed on the most recent industrial, service and public sector developments. Campus technology, engineering, and computing staff work with the SUNY Broome Continuing Education to develop programs ensuring the highest level of training resulting in the best possible level of competency for area employers.

Assessment Services

Trained personnel can visit your worksite and conduct a formal or informal assessment of your training needs. Through personal interviews, written surveys and demographic information, SUNY Broome staff can help you identify and focus on your training needs.

Basic Skills Instruction

Through specially designed skills assessment instruments, SUNY Broome staff can help ascertain basic skill levels of your employees. This can be especially important when implementing new technologies such as statistical process control or computer integrated manufacturing. We can provide basic skills instruction in subject areas as shop math, measuring devices blueprint reading, computers, reading, and more.

Leadership Training
