These courses
introduce students in the EET and TLC programs to various construction methods
found in our local industries. Students learn the basics of commercial and
residential wiring according to the National Electric Code as well as high
voltage insulation testing from a safety point of view. The courses include
printed circuit board soldering/desoldering and emphasize trouble-shooting
skills. Doing a job correctly and according to a specified plan are important to
our graduates. Electrical construction skills will be nurtured though out the
courses. The skills learned will be used in our Design and Fabrication Course
(EET 230) later in our students careers.
