The criteria for the award is as follows:
Recipients must be a female student with high unmet financial need;
Prefer GPA in excess of 3.0.
Award may not exceed in-state tuition.
Recipients are requested to write a letter about their educational and professional goals to the Aleknas, thanking them for the gift.
The current award amount: $1500. per academic year.
Number of recipients: at least 4 students.
