ASSISTANT COUNSELOR

 

Immediate full-time temporary opening through January 31, 2010 for Assistant Counselor in the Counseling Department within the Student Affairs Division.  Responsible for counseling students in the areas of career/life planning, the transfer process, personal/social matters, and to serve as a resource to faculty and staff in matters related to students.  This position has a 12-month work year.

A master's degree in counseling, behavioral sciences, student personnel, or a related area is required.  Two years of experience in an educational institution, public agency or industry in the area of counseling is required; three years of comparable experience preferred.
