Learning Disabilities Program (Library Room 10)
This program offers specialized services to students with identified learning process disabilities (LD), attention deficit disorders (ADD/ADHD), and to students who suspect they may have a learning disorder.
If you provide the college with documentation of a disability, you are eligible for a variety of services. The services include academic accommodations, specific skills instruction, learning and study strategies, academic advising/planning, and self-advocacy training.
If you suspect that you have a learning disability or attention deficit disorder, you should meet with the Learning Disabilities Specialist. Based on a screening, you may receive a free diagnostic assessment. If a disorder is discovered, you will be eligible for accommodative services from the Learning Disabilities and Student Support Services programs.
