Copyright Information for Library Reserve
The system will allow simultaneous viewing by multiple authorized users. Access to the system will be limited to faculty of and students registered in each course.
Authorized users may view, download or print copies from the system. The system stores files in PDF, html, and Word formats.
Users may make only ONE copy. It can only be used for private study, personal research or education.
Complete or longer works, e.g., books, will NOT be scanned for the reserve system.
On an introductory screen, a copyright notice (Title 17, U.S. Code) will be displayed before each electronic reserve item. Appropriate citations and attributions to source must be included.
The library will reserve the right not to place materials on reserve if it judges the material does not meet the criteria of fair use. The library reserves the right to change library guidelines on electronic reserves based on new information regarding copyright laws and universal library electronic reserve practices.
Materials will be removed from access on the system at the conclusion of the course.
