BCC Library iPod Collection

The BCC Library owns a collection of 6 iPods which are available to students for a one week loan period (7 days.) The iPods are loaded with BCC iTunes University content. To check out an iPod, visit the BCC Library's Circulation Desk, present a valid BCC ID, and complete and sign a borrowers agreement.

The iPods have been provided to the BCC Library through a generous gift from Broome Community College Foundation, made possible through a grant from the Community Foundation for Central New York. The Library received 6 iPods, power docks, and the following accessories:

• Belkin Tunetalk microphones (for recording audio directly to iPods)
• Griffin iTrip Auto (for listening to podcasts through your car radio and charging iPod.)

*Students will need to provide their own ear buds (earphones) as the Library does not circulate this accessory.

Guidelines for Loans

• Present a valid BCC ID
• Sign and complete a borrowers agreement
• Only one iPod may be checked out per patron
• Please do not remove the iPod from its protective cover
• Borrowers are free to use their own earbuds or headphones
• Never leave iPod unattended
• Return iPod equipment directly to Circulation Desk staff (do not drop in unattended book return)
• Returned iPods will be re-synced, any added content will be entirely erased and library content will be restored.
• Returned iPods will have a 24 hour turn-around to allow for re-syncing and battery charging
