Mission

The overall mission of the Learning Resources Center (LRC) is to provide a broad range of resources and services to meet the informational and instructional needs of BCC students, faculty, and the extended college community. The LRC's primary function is to support the teaching and learning activities of the college and to provide a center for serious study, research, and learning. This mission will be realized by achieving the following goals:

To develop relevant and up-to-date information and instructional resources.
To identify and provide the easiest and most flexible access to appropriate information and instructional resources.
To provide consultation and instruction on accessing and evaluating information, for individuals or group settings.
To provide consultation and media technology support for the programs and departments at the college.
To provide warm and inviting teaching / learning environments that foster inquiry, encourage discovery, and promote lifelong learning.
