Thank you for visiting!
I joined the Computer Studies Department in
the Fall semester of 1997 after holding several other positions in the campus
Computer Center at Broome Community College (BCC) dating back to 1981. I was
the Director of the new Computing Resources Department, Assistant Director of
the old Computer Center, Senior Programmer/Analyst, Programmer/Analyst, night
Operator and student lab assistant back when I was a student here at BCC.
In 1994 I started writing computer oriented textbooks with James Antonakos.
Programming, networking, hardware, operating systems and certifications. Check
out my publications page for more information
about the books.
Between 1987 and 1990 I worked for Atlantic Research Corporation as a Senior
Staff member. Two of the most notable projects included development of the real
time Combat
Talon Radar Simulation Test Bench Controller and programming the cockpit
displays for the V-22 aircraft
Real-Time Engineering Simulator.
I have an AAS in Electrical Engineering Technology from BCC in 1981, a BS in
Liberal Studies from the State University
of New York at Binghamton in 1991, an MS in Systems Science from
Binghamton University (formerly SUNY
Binghamton) in 1997.
During the past few years I have become

Network+
certified by CompTIA.
I am interested in all types of computer hardware, operating
systems, languages and applications.
