About Us

The BCC Theater Department has a 30-year reputation of preparing students for a life in the performing arts and offers an Associate of Science in General Studies (Sequence in Theatre) Degree. While studying acting, dance, directing, playwriting, scene design, theater history and children’s theater, BCC theater students actively participate in the major public production of each semester as well as in-class projects.

Mark your calendars for the BCC Little Theater Players' offering of Shakespeare's works on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 17, 18, and 19th at 7:00 pm.

The evening includes a sampling of the works of WIlliam Shakespeare (still the worlds' most produced playwright) with narration explaining the various pieces and live music and dancing of the period. Each evening there will be a talk back with the audience, actors and director after the show.

Included are scenes from Romeo & Juliet, Henry VI, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Anthony and Cleopatra and more. Don't miss this chance to introduce yourself to the world of Shakespeare or, if you'rea veteran, experience his magic all over again.
