Started in 1994, the Successful Teaching Conference is a joint effort of the Teaching Centers of Broome, Corning, and Tompkins-Cortland Community Colleges and the Institute for Community College Development (ICCD) at Cornell University.
The goal of the conference is to provide a low-cost, high-quality professional development opportunity by and for faculty, giving community college educators, both full time and part time the opportunity to participate, present, network, and talk pedagogy with their peers. The three community colleges alternate hosting the conference in their community each fall.
